On 25-28 of May 2012, ICEB China chapter (ICEB-CN) held its first Annual Conference ICEB-CN 2012
jointly with the 6th Intelligent Computing Conference in Kaifeng, China.
A planning meeting was chaired by Prof. Jinwu Gao of Renmin University of
China at 7:30-9:30pm on 25 May 2012. The drafts of the Constitution and the Bylaw
for ICEB China chapter were walked through and finalized. On the next day, 26 May 2012,
the Constitution and the Bylaw were approved by the general members attending
the Conference. Subsequently, the officers of the chapter were elected. Prof. Jinwu
Gao is the first elected President of ICEB-CN. This inaugural event sets an
important historical milestone for ICEB.
The chapter will host its ICEB-CN 2013 Conference in
Guilin, Guangxi, China
and ICEB-CN 2014 Conference in
Qinhuangdao, Hebei, China.
