Out of these papers, 27 were selected as the candidates for the Best Paper Award.  After careful double-blind reviews for several days, the Selection Committee finally makes the recommendation to the Conference Chair.  The winner(s) of this award will be announced in the Business Luncheon on June 30, 2005.

In addition to the Best Paper Award, there is another new event in this conference.  We have produced the International Deanˇ¦s Panel session to discuss the issue of business school accreditation in Asia.  The panelists include the deans or representatives from Berry College (USA), China Europe International Business School (China), Chinese University of Hong Kong (China), Dhurakijpundit University (Thailand), Macquarie University (Australia), University of Nevada at Las Vegas (USA), Yonsei University (Korea), and several universities in Taiwan.  The panel will be held in June 29 from 10:40am to 12:00pm.  The accreditation process involves not only the administrators but also the faculties.  This panel will also discuss several important issues related to the faculties in Asia.

The annual conference of the APDSI is a golden opportunity for the scholars like you and me to share research ideas and get informed about the latest development in the fields.  We could meet other leading professionals from around the world so as to establish a research network and engender future collaborations.  In this conference, we have two hundred fifty participants from fifteen countries, such as Australia, Canada, China, Denmark, Finland, Hong Kong, Israel, Japan, Korea, Nepal, Malaysia, Oman, Singapore, Thailand, and U.S.A.
